The design guide was provided as an attachment to Arizona Public Service Company's (APS) letter dated September 27, 1993 (Reference 1), which was submitted to the NRC in response to the NRC request for additional information sent to APS by letter dated July 21, 1993 (R f r nce2). As requested by Nr. Richard Bernier, this letter is to convey permission to Arizona Public Service Company to copy as recpxired and to include Bechtel electrical design guide E2.64 - Rev.

2 (Cable Derating Practice) in their submittal to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on the Thermo-Lag issue.
