NOTICE OF VIOLATION Docket No. 50-528 License No.
NPF-41 During an NRC inspection conducted on March 1 through April 11,
- 1992, one violation of NRC requirements was identified.
In accordance with the "General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions,"
10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C, the violation is listed below:
10 CFR 20.203(b) requires that each radiation area be conspicuously posted with a sign or signs bearing the radiation caution symbol and the words:
"Caution Radiation Area."
Contrary to the above, on March 16, 1992, the radiation area in the Unit 1 radwaste storage yard adjoining the refueling water tank was not posted at the Auxiliary Building stairway.
This is a Severity Level IV violation (Supplement IV) applicable to Unit l.
