NUREG-0737, II.F.l, Sampling and Analysis of Plant Effluents File: 91-056-026; 91-057-026 The enclosed information is being provided in response to NRC letter dated August 22,
- 1991, requesting additional information relating to sampling of radionuclides and radioparticulates in plant effluents from the PVNGS units.
Enclosure A provides the APS responses to the NRC questions; Enclosure B is the 10 CFR 50.59 evaluation for t:he change to fixed-flow sampling; and Enclosure C
is PVNGS Calculation No. 13-NC-SQ-200 which provides information supporting the 10 CFR 50.59.
It should be noted that the PVNGS Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) change regarding isokinet:ic sampling flow was the subject of an NRC regional inspection during March 25 to March 29, 1991.
Enclosure D of this submittal is an excerpt from the NRC Region V inspection report:, dated April 15, 1991, which summarizes the regional inspector's review of sampler configuration and sample line design with regard to that UFSAR change.
