TRANSMITTAL OF ENGINEERING EVALUATION REPORT - OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE ON BUS TRANSFER In December
- 1989, NRC staff from the Office for Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data visited Arizona Public Service Company (APS) to study your bus transfer scheme.
This visit was part of a study initiated by the NRC'eview of two reports submitted by Northeast Utilities relating to bus transfer problems at Millstone Unit 3.
Following that review, similar problems at other operating nuclear plants were identified.
This prompted the NRC to conduct an in-depth study on the state-of-the-art of bus transfer schemes.
The Engineering Evaluation Report documenting the results of the study is enclosed for your information as a participant in the study.
