on July 2-13,

1990.

examined during this inspectioII are described

in the enclosed

inspection

report.

Within these

areas,

the inspection consisted

of selective

examinations of,procedures

and repres'entative

records,

interviews with

personnel,

and observations

by the inspector.

Your attention is invited to unresolved

items identified in the enclosed

inspection report.

The unresolved

items concern

(1) the implementation of

.nonconforming condition procedures

and (2) the independent verification and

guality Control inspection of maintenance activities.

These matters will

be pursued further during future inspections.

No deviations or violations of NRC requirements

were identified within the

scope of this inspection.
