M. Levine, APS to Mr. J. Martin, NRC dated February 2, 1990 The referenced letter documented the Arizona Public Service Company's (APS) program for formalizing procedures to manage and conduct the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station's Licensed Operator Requalification Program and the status of commitments to correct identified procedural compliance problems.
The formalization of procedures for managing the PVNGS Licensed Operator Requalification Program and the update of the status of the corrective action for procedural compliance problems were in response to findings identified during a Licensed Operator Requalification Program evaluation conducted by the NRC.
The results of the formalization of procedures for the PVNGS Licensed Operator Requalification Program and conduct of operation procedure changes will be verified during future inspections and Licensed Operator Requalification Program evaluations.
