conducted

this office on February 22-25 and 29-March 3, 1988, of activities authorized
by
NRC Licenses
and NPF-74 and to the discussion
of our
tindings held by Mr. North with Messrs.
E.
E.
Van Brunt, Jr.,
and J.
G.
Haynes
and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
During
the first three
days of the inspection,
the inspector
was accompanied
by
Messrs.
A.
W. Grella, Division of Safeguards
and Transportation,
and A.
M.
Huffert, Division of Low Level Waste
Management
and Decommissioning,
NMSS.
Areas
examined during this inspection
are described
in the enclosed
inspection report.
Within these
areas,
the inspection consisted of selective
examinations
of procedures
and representative
records,
interviews with
personnel,,and
observations
by the inspector.
No violations of NRC requirements
were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
In accordance
with 10
CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
