Dear Mr. Knighton:
On March 3,
- 1987, Mr. Michael Davis of your staff, discussed the NRC's comments on the ANPP Unit 3 Technical Specification Certification Letter, (Reference B) and re-quested that ANPP re-certify the Unit 3 Technical Specifications with the deletion of Figure 3.1-1, Page 3/4 1-5.
After reviewing the proposed
- change, ANPP will delete Figure 3.1-1 for the certifica-tion and will at a later date submit the change for Units 2 and 3.
Based on this change; the deletion of Figure 3.1-1, and the information presented in (Reference B),
I certify that to the best of my knowledge, the Proof and Review copy of the Technical Specifications for PVNGS Unit 3,
as transmitted to ANPP (Reference A),
and as amended by (Reference B),
and as discussed
- herewith, accurately reflect the as-built condition of the plant, the PVNGS Final Safety Analysis Report and the S'afety Evaluation Report.
