EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - PALO VERDE 1, 2 AND 3 Confirming discussions with your staff, an NRC equipment qualii'ication (EQ) inspection of Palo Verde 1, 2 and 3 will be conducted on November 2-6, 1987.
The inspection will take place at your engineering offices and the plant site.
The inspection will begin with a management entrance meeting at 2:30 pm on November 2, 1987 and conclude with a management exit meeting tentatively set for 10:00 am on November 6, 1987, both scheduled at your engineering offices.
The inspection will include the following:

Review of the implementation of the EQ program in'onformance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.49, including preservation of the qualified status for the equipment.
(2)
Review of the implementation of corrective'ction,commitmehts in the EQ program.
(3)
Review of EQ documentation files.
(4)
A plant walkdown and physical inspection of selected equipment (tentatively planned for November 4, 1987).
