PALO. VERDE UNIT 3 DIESEL 'GENERATOR RECOVERY 'PROGRAM dl The staff has reviewed your submittal regarding the recovery program for the B-Emergency Diesel'enerator at Palo Verde Unit 3.
The evaluation is included as Enclosure 1.
The staff has concluded that the recovery program, when implemented will provide all data necessary for determining the adequacy of the diesel for nuclear service.
The staff would like to be onsite when the Number 9 crankpin journal'nd bearings are inspected.
You are requested to provide the schedule for EDG-B testing and inspection so that we can plan accordingly.
