Report on the Power Ascension Test Program for Palo Verde Unit 1 Palo Verde Unit 1 is the first CE System 80 plant to go into operation and your experience with Unit 1 through ascension to full power is of importance to the power ascension testing of Unit 2.

We request that you provide a summary report on the results of the Palo Verde Unit 1 power ascension test program by February 21, 1986.

The contents of the report should include the scope shown in the enclosed outline.

If you have any questions regarding this request, you should contact me or Mr. E. Licitra, the Licensing Project Manager.

The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements of this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.
