PALO VERDE UNIT 2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION - FINAL DRAFT Enclosed please find the final draft version of the Palo Verde Unit 2 Technical Specifications.

The draft Technical Specifications were previously provided to you by letter dated August 14, 1985 for your comment during the formal Proof and Review Phase.

These Technical Specifications were developed by utilizing the Combustion Engineering Standard Technical Specifications (CE-STS), Revision 2, and the Palo Verde Unit 1 Technical Specifications as a basis.

Additional technical specification refinements developed as part of the CESSAR System 80 Final Draft Technical Specification review were considered, along with changes requested by you which were considered necessary to ensure that these specifications more accurately reflect the plant-specific design, address new regulatory requirements and correct minor editorial and/or typographical errors.

Changes and refinements were adopted where appropriate.

The Technical Specifications which will be issued as Appendix A to the Palo Verde Unit 2 license are expected to be essentially identical to the enclosed final draft with the exception of the reactor vessel toughness (forgings) Unit 2 specific test data.

This information has not yet been provided by you.

Any further changes requested by you, other than those required to correct editorial and/or typographical errors, should be docketed with justification for the requested changes.
