Arizona Public Service

Company, as Project Manager of Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 is, submitting this letter to advise you that Unit 1 will be ready to receive an operating license on December 21, 1984.

In support of this request we plan to submit our certificate that the facility has been designed, constructed and tested in accordance with the Final Safety Analysis Report and other licensing commitments on December 14, 1984.

We request your support for issuance of the Unit 1 operating license by December 21, 1984.
