Justification for Test Description Changes 148.4 125V DC Power S stem Pg '148-7 Section 3.3 The 125V DC Power system does not have bus transfer devices. Transfer of power supplies is made by manually changing circuit breaker positions.

148.13 Auxiliar Feedwater S stem Pg 148-22 Footnote a The change clarifies that the pump on demand starting time verification will be done a minimum of 5 times.

Footnote b The change clarifies that the cold start applies to the turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater pump only.

148.38 Fire Protection S stem Pg 148-54 Section 3.5-The portable fire extinguishers are being inspected for location and proper charge on a routine schedule through an inspection procedure.

148.44 Containment HVAC-Tendon Caller R Penetration Pg 148-61 Section 4.4-Clarification that handswitches are at the local control panel.

148.46 Radwaste Bld HVAC Pg 148-64 Section 1.2-The revised wording standardizes the wording throughout the test descriptions. For specifics see "test method" Section 3.6.

Section 1.5-a.) The air washer pumps are not designed with .a "dust mode" of operation. b.) The revised wording will ensure that applicable testing of the air washers and oil impingement filters is performed regardless of "operational modes". c.) Spray nozzles do not have a mode of operation, however, flow through the nozzles is demonstrated as part of the setup and operation of the air washer pumps.

Section 1.8- The Radwaste HVAC System does not use pressure controllers.

Section2.3-Flow balancing is covered under another startup test procedure and is therefore deleted.

Section 3.2-The radwaste building HVAC system does not utilize pressure signals to control unit dampers.

Section 3.3-The change clarifies that automatic and manual system controls will be demonstrated.

Section 3.6-The existing statement "Record all data on test sheets" is not necessary, the test program addresses this item.

The new statement is necessary because the Radwaste Building Ventilation System contains filter units that require testing.

6. 14B.47 Turbine Bld .HVAC pg 14B-68 Section 3.2-(a)The Turbine Building HVAC system does not utilize pressure signals to control unit dampers. (b) The present list of equipment is incomplete (c) The designator HN is a typographical error and should be HT.

Section 3.4-The change clarifies that automatic and manual system controls will be demonstrated.

Section 3.7-a.) The air washer pumps are not designed with a "dust mode" of operation. b.) The revised wording will ensure that applicable testing of the air washers and oil impingement filters is performed regardless of "operational modes".

c.) Spray nozzles do not have a mode of operation, however, flow through the nozzles is demonstrated as part of the setup and operation of the air washer pumps.

Section 3.8-The statement "Record all data on test sheets" is not necessary, the test program addresses the item.

7. 14B.49 Li uid Radwaste S stem Pg 14B-71 Section 3.1-The change clarifies that the modified 3.1 and the existing 3.2 will verify flow rates of all critical flow paths.
