Dear Mr. Knighton:
Arizona Public Service Company (APS),
as Project Manager of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS) submitted in the referenced letter it's request for extension of the latest completion date for Construction Permit No.
That request sought the extension of the latest date for completion of the construction of Palo Verde Unit 1
from August 31, 1983 to December 31, 1983.
APS is amending that request by enclosing herewith three (3) originals and nineteen (19) copies of its amended request for extension of the latest completion date for Construction Permit No.
CPPR-141, dated September 7,
1983.
The amended request seeks the extension of the latest date for completion of construction of Palo Verde Unit 1 from August 31, 1983 to December 31, 1984.
We request this extension even though we fully anticipate PVNGS Unit 1 should be prepared to load fuel earlier.
