Schedule for Resolution of Remaining Issues on Palo Verde Unit 1
At the present time, there are a number of issues ralating to the review of the Palo Verde FSAR which will require resolution prior to a decision on an operating license for Palo Verde Unit 1.
Some of these issues concern matters which are currently under staff review.
For the remainder of the issues, the staff is waiting for your submittal of additional information w'hich >re have previously identified to you.
In order for the staff to complete its review of those issues, so as not to impact your fuel load date for the Palo Verde Unit 1, we will need your submittals on those matters in a timely manner.
Enclosure 1 provides a listing of the issues which require resolution for Palo
.Verde Unit 1.
Those issues which are currently under staff review are noted accordingly.
For the remainder, we request that you provide a firm date for submittal of the required inforc>ation to permit the staff to complete its review.
In addition to providing the dates requested
- above, we ask that you advise us of any changes you plan to make to your OL application, including dates for submittal, which will require staff review and approval.
As an example, we understand that you may, be considering a revision to your currently approved security plan.
You should also provide the dates for submitting the information which addresses the additional CESSAR interface requirements (e.g., certification of fuel system analyses and the plant specific information concerning statistical combination of uncertainties) which are identified in Supplement No.
