Certification Regarding the Design and Construction of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3

It is our current policy to request OL applicants to provide, prior to issuance of an operating license, a certification by the chief executive officer or his designee that the facility has been designed, constructed and tested in accordance with the Final Safety Analysis Report and other licensing commitments.

In keeping with this policy, we request that you provide under oath or affirmation such a certification, as defined above, for each unit of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 prior to the issuance of an operating license for the unit. If you have any questions about this request; to assure a better understanding of what is required, please let me know'.
