WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST REGARDING TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3.8.1.1, AC SOURCES REDUCING EXCESSIVE TESTING OF DIESEL GENERATORS (TAC NO. 76178)

The following information was previously transmitted to you by letter dated August 27, 1990.

The subject heading of the letter was erroneously stated.

The content of the letter is unchanged; however, this letter correctly identifies the subject matter.

We hope that this error did not cause you any inconvenience.

By letter dated March 2, 1990, (G02-90-037), you applied for an amendment to the Washington Nuclear Plant Unit 2 (WNP-2 Operating License, No. NPF-21.

The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications (TS) regarding diesel generator testing frequencies.

Subsequently, by letter dated August 20, 1990, (G02-90-137), you withdrew the amendment request.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication (September 5, 1990, 55 FR 36367).
