meeting held in the Region
V office on
July 26,
1990 between
members of the Supply System
and Region
V management.
The purpose of this meeting
was to discuss
items of interest pertaining to
activities authorized
by
NRC license
Subjects
discussed
during the
meeting are
summarized
in the enclosed
meeting report No. 50-397/90-24.
This meeting included
a review of your actions to address
the diesel
generators'lectrical
problems,
the
81 diesel
generator
bearing failure, the
25
KVA circuit
breaker explosion,
and issues
related to the
WNP-.2 restart.
While it appeared
that there
has
been
an improvement in the management
and
review of incidents, it is important that you make every effort to profit from
these
events
and ensure that personnel
are in an operating
frame of mind as
the plant resumes
operation.
In accordance
with 10-CFR 2.790{a),
a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
