of this office on November 13, through

December

1989, of activities

authorized

by

NRC License

No. NPF-21.

Findings were discussed

with members of

your staff at meetings

on November

17 and

December

22,

1989.

Areas examined during this inspection

are described

in the enclosed

inspection

report.

Within these

areas,

the inspection consisted of selective

examinations of procedures

and representative

records,

interviews with

personnel,

and observations

by the inspectors.

This inspection identified

a concern that the control

room fire/evacuation

procedure

required

an hourly temperature

monitoring of certain locations

and

some of the locations

and the access

routes to the locations

were not provided

with eight hour battery

powered lighting units to adequately

support the

procedure.

No violations or deviations

were identified within the scope of this

inspection.

In accordance

with 10 CFR 2.790(a),

a copy of, this letter and the enclosure

will be placed in the

NRC Public Document

Room.
