License Termination Request Date:
Thursday, October 12, 2017 9:43:00 AM On May 12, 2017, you submitted an amendment request to terminate your license. At the time, the NRC was unable to act on your request while awaiting the amendment of your agreement state license to return Rapiscan-owned special nuclear material to that license. That documentation was received yesterday and the requested action can proceed.
The NRC has performed an acceptance review of your submittal dated May 12, 2017, Request to Terminate License SNM-2018, Docket 70-7021, and found it acceptable for further review.
