WNP-2 CPPR-93 Preservice Inspection Program Plan, Request for Relief, dated July 31, 1986 Your letter, Reference l,,requests the status of our review of Revision 3 to your Pump and Valve Inservice Inspection Program Plan and your Preservice Inspection Program relief requests.
t The Pump and Valve Inservice Inspection Plan, Revision 3, is awaiting assignment to an NRC contractor for detailed technical review and the preparation of a Technical Evaluation Report (TER).
The TER will then be reviewed by the NRC staff which will prepare an appropriate Safety Evaluation.
If additional infor-mation's required by the contractor, we shall prepare a formal Request for Additional Information (RAI).
The complete review cycle will require approxi-mately thirty-five weeks from its onset which has not yet started.
The schedule to begin the review of your submittal and similar submittals of other utilities is in preparation; consequently the starting date for your review has not yet been determined.
We regret the delay.
Your Preservice Inspection relief requests have been granted (see Reference 2)..
