The staff has completed a preliminary review to assess the completeness and adequacy of licensee responses to Generic Letter 83-28 Item 1.2.

For WNP-2, your response'as found to be incomplete in three of the areas evaluated.

The enclosed TER provides a technical evaluation representing the staff's initial judgment of the areas evaluated.

Pen and ink changes have been made to the TER by your project manager to make the wording consistent with our approach.

As a result of a telephone conference on May 16, 1985 with members of your staff, all three areas were clarified and no additional information is required.
