G. Eisenhut's letter of December 22, 1980, required submittal of a report documenting the results of our review of controls for handling heavy loads to determine the extent to which the guidelines of NUREG-0612, "Control of Heavy Loads at Nuclear Power Plants",
are presently satisfied at the Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Station.
The information required in Section 2.1 of Enclosure 3 to the subject letter was furnished to your office on June 26, 1981.
Additional information, as outlined in Sections 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 of Enclosure 3 to the subject letter was requested by September 22, 1981.
This letter is to inform you that we do not expect to have the analytical work necessary for these sections complete by that date.
We submit a revised date of October 31, 1981, in furnishing this informa-tion.
