Mashfngton Nuclear Project No.

2 (WNP-2) which are authorized

This invest gation was conducted

by Mr. R. T. Dodds

and

other members of the

RV staff between June

3 and July 25, )980.

It also refers

to the discussions

of our investigation findings held by the inspectors with

Mr. Bibb and other members of your staff at the conclus1on of the investigation

on July 24-25, ]980.

V Office of Inspection

and Enforce-

ment, Mr. R. H. Engelken

and members of hfs staff also met with you and members

these findings.'

the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"

Section 2.201 requires you to submit to this office, within thirty (30) days

of your receipt of this notice,

reviews of completed safety- related

a program for these

reviews whfch, ff properly

fmplemented,

should identify problens

such

as those identified during this

1nvestigation.

Therefore, your effectiveness

fn performing these

reviews

and iinplementfng actions to correct deficiencies

and improve the control of

safety related

work will be 1nstrumental

to our determfnat1on

of whether

any further enforcement action fs required,

as suspension,

modiffcat1on

or revocation of your license.

Your reviews

and corrective actions will be

exanined rigorously by our regional

fsspectfon staff and resident inspector

at MNP-2.
