Dear Dr. Hecredy:
By letters dated August 5 and September 20,
- 1993, you responded to Generic Letter (GL) 93-04.
By letter dated January 11, 1995, in response to a request for additional information, you confirmed that the current order timing modifications, in accordance with approved Westinghouse Owners Group (WOG) rod control system evaluation and surveillance
- programs, were implemented and successfully tested.
You also confirmed that the approved WOG surveillance testing program would continue during each refueling outage as a long-term resolution to GL 93-04.
The NRC staff finds your responses acceptable and hereby closes TAC No. M86848.
