examined

during

the

inspection

are

report.

The

inspection

was

performance

based,

directed

toward evaluation

of

equipment

conditions,

observation

of

in-process

maintenance

activities,

review

of

equipment

histories,

and

evaluation

of performance

indicators,

maintenance

control procedures,

and the overall maintenance

program.

The inspection findings are

summarized

in the Executive

Summary of the report.

In general,

the

findings

show that

you

have

developed

a

good

maintenance

program with good implementation.'articularly

noteworthy in contributing to

an

overall

good

program

was

management's

commitment

to

improvement

of the

maintenance

program

and

a knowledgeable

and qualified maintenance

organization.

Your attention

is invited to

the

weaknesses

identified in the report.

In

particular,

weaknesses

relative

to

mechanical

maintenance

planning

and

maintenance

procedures

should receive attention.

The inspection

findings indicate that certain activities

appeared

to violate

NRC requirements.

The violations,

references

to pertinent

requirements,

and

elements

to be included in your response

are described

in the enclosed

Notice

of Violation.

Your attention

is invited to the unresolved
