The enclosed report of the NRC pilot audit of your Safety Parameter Display System is forwarded for your information and appropriate action.
This audit was conducted at the St.
Lucie Plant during the period of October 6-10, 1985.
Please note that the report identifies potential concerns in the areas of system availability, incorrect information display, and inconsistent parameter displays when compared with other control room displays and procedures.
There also appears to be a lack of management and operator acceptance of the system.
