RII:JPO 50-335 IE Bulletin 79-068 The following inFormation is submitted to supplement our letter L-79-141 of May 25, 1979:

In response b'4 of our letter L-79-79 dated April 24, 1979 we stated that prior to mode 1 operation, instructions will be issued to further ensure that an operator is designated to promptly initiate and verify auxiliary feedwater flow to the steam generator(s),

if needed, during transient and accident situations.

We would like to clarify our response to state that this action would be the primary duty (no other concurrent duties) of the designated operator during such transients and accidents until after the steam generator level(s ) are stabilized.
