On March 20, 1990, the NRC issued Generic Letter (GL) 90-03, "Relaxation of Staff Position in Generic Letter 83-28, Item 2.2 Part 2, 'Vendor Interface for Safety-Related Components.

111 The GL requested that all licensees and applicants review their present vendor interface programs and modify them, as neces.sary, using the guidance supplied in the GL.

By letter dated September 26, 1990, you responded to GL 90-03 for Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2; Dresden Station, Units 2 and 3; LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2; Quad Cities, Units 1 and 2, and Zion Station, Units 1 and 2.

The letter indicated that the programs will be implemented by December 31, 1994, in accordance with the guidance given in the GL.

The staff has reviewed your response and finds it acceptable.

This action closes TAC Nos. 76208, 76209, 76215, 76216, 76232, 76233, 76250,

• 76251, 76281, 76282, 76317 and 76318.
