. security computer not always recording open doors.
Our review of your w~itten response sho~ed that the a 11 egati on was not substantiated.
Your response indicated that your analysis of existing documentation of door alarm functibnal tests from July 1 through September 30, 1988, and interviews of members of your contract security force showed no evidence of the previous door malfunction hor the current problem described _
in the allegation. Additionally, your tests verified the operability of the doors.
Your analysis furtherreflected normal conditions with acceptable alarm rate levels.
It appears that the step~ you have taken to resolve and investigate the
. allegation were appropriate.* We have no further questions at this time.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed redacted letter dated December 2, 1988, will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
