In your letters dated July 29, 1988 and.October 5, 1988, you provided a response to Generic Letter 88-01 and supplemental information on the Fall 1988

the staff has determined that the Fall 1988 Inspection Program described in your July 29, 1988 submittal is acceptable with ~he followi.ng exception.
Because of CECo' s inability to provide information to determine the types of inspections and the qualifications of the.inspectors used for those Category G welds that were inspected in 1983 and 1984, no credit can be given for hydrogen water chemistry (HWC) and all those welds should be inspected during the 1988 refueling outage. *For the remaining weld categories where CECo has requested

Based on our preliminary review, the staff has determined that the Fall 1988 Inspection Program described in your July 29, 1988 submittal is acceptable with the following exception.
