1988, of activities ~t Dresden Nuclear Power Statibn, Units 2 and 3 authorized
by NRC Operating Licenses No. DPR-19 and No. DPR-25 and to the discussiori of .

inspection .
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these are~~i the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
During.this inspection, ce~tain of your activities appeared to be in violation
of NRC requirements,. as described in the enclosed Notice.
The inspectiori
showed that action had been taken to correct th~ identified violation and to
prevent recurrence.
Our understanding of your corrective actions are
described in Paragraph 7 of the enclosed inspection report. Consequently, no
reply to the violatio*n is required and we have no further questions regarding
this matter at this time.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclos~re(s) will be placed in the NRC Public Document
Room.
