APPENDIX R INSPECTION FOR DRESDEN STATION (TAC NOS. ~59853 AND 59854)
Daniel R. Muller, Director Project Directorate III-2 Division of Reactor Projects IV, V and Special Projects Attached is a copy of the Safety Evaluation for the Alternate Safe Shutdown for the Dresden Station which has been issued to the Commonwealth Edison Company.
In Sections 3.4.1, 3.4.4 and 3.5 there are conclusions that are contingent upon verifications by the NRC'Appendix R walkthrough team.
We request that this verification be brought to the attention of that inspection team.
The results should be included in their inspection report. This has been discussed with J. Harrison and M. Grotenhuis.
