OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE UNIT ONE.

DECEMBER, 1980 12-1 to 12-31 Unit One* was shutdown for the entire month, awaiting* license approval for the chemical cleaning.

Major work scheduled to be completed following chemical cleaning is as follows:. HPCL installation for ECCS upgrading, equip-ment upgrade to IEEE 279, major in-service* inspection, and refuel.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE

. UNIT TWO 12-1 to 12-4 12-5 to 12-12 DECEMBER, 1980 Unit Two started the month operating at.a power level of 350 MWe.

On December 2. at 2215 hours0.0256 days <br />0.615 hours <br />0.00366 weeks <br />8.428075e-4 months <br />, a reactor scram and turbine trip occurred because of moisture condensation in the turbine vibration meter.

The reactor was made critical on December 3 at 2ll2 hours and scrammed. December 4 at. 0418 hours0.00484 days <br />0.116 hours <br />6.911376e-4 weeks <br />1.59049e-4 months <br />.because of.a SRM Hi Hi.

The*reactor was made critical.on December 4 at 2054 hours0.0238 days <br />0.571 hours <br />0.0034 weeks <br />7.81547e-4 months <br /> and was manually scrammed at 2242 hours0.0259 days <br />0.623 hours <br />0.00371 weeks <br />8.53081e-4 months <br />.be-
