AND 2 By a letter dated January 31,
- 1985, as revised May 3, 1985, you requested several Technical Specifications changes for automatic depressurization system (ADS) for SSES Units 1

In our letter dated May 1, 1987 we informed you that the-requested changes were a part of generic activity related to the technical specification improvements, and suggested that you withdraw the subject application and resubmit your request following issuance of the staff's generic guidance.
As a followup to our May"1, 1987 letter and subsequent conversations with your staff, we wish to confirm that no further action will be taken on the subject request and the subject TAC numbers are considered to be closed.
