NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF NINE MILE POINT UNIT 1 AMENDMENT APPLICATION DATED JANUARY 23, 1986 (TAC 60825)

By letter dated January 23, 1986, Niagara Mohawk submitted an application for an amendment to the Nine Mile Point Unit 1 Operating License DPR-63 concerning Technical Specifications 3.2.6 and 4.2.6, Inservice Inspection and Testing.

Your letter of April 28,

1988, stated that the January 23, 1986 application was superceded by your application for dated January 29, 1988 and, therefore, pursuant to 10 CFR, 2. 107, Niagara Mohawk requested withdrawal of the application dated January 23, 1986.

This letter acknowledges and grants your request to withdraw your January 23, 1986 amendment application.

The Commission has filed the enclosed "Notice of Withdrawal for Amendment to Facility Operating License" with the Office of Federal Register for publication.
