BEFORE COMMERCIAL OPERATION ON NINE MILE POINT, UNIT 2 (NMP-2)
On March ll, 1988 you submitted two letters (NMP2L 1119 andNMPgL.1120) concerning completion of actions on NMP-2.
Specifically, these actions, concerned
- 1) meeting a commitment made to the NRC regarding completion of, the carbon dioxide fire suppression system in seven non-safety related switchgear rooms and 2) completing six human engineering discrepancies (HFD's)'or the DCRDR in accordance with License Condition 2.C(9)(a).
Both of these actions were to be completed by commercial operation.
The letters referenced above stated these actions were completed on March 1, 1988 and February 29,
- 1988, respectively.
Commercial operation was declared for NMP-2 on March 11, 1988.
This letter acknowledges receipt of your March 11, 1988 letters stating these actions were completed before commercial operation.
