SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT CONCERNING THE OCTOBER 13, 1987 PROPOSED REVISION TO THE NINE MILE NUCLFAR STATION UNITS 1
AND 2 FIRE PROTECTION QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM (TAC 66515)
By letter dated October 13, 1987 you submitted Revision 1 to the Fire Protection Quality Assurance Program for Nine Mile Point Units 1 and 2.
The staff in conjunction with its contractors, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), has reviewed the proposed revision and determined that it conforms with staff guidance.
Enclosed is the Technical Fvaluation Report (TER) prepared by SAIC following their review of the October 13, 1987 submittal.
The staff concurs with SAIC's TER and finds Revision 1 to the Fire Protection Quality Assurance Program for Nine Mile Point Units 1 and 2 to be acceptable.
Any questions concerning the enclosed TER should be directed to the Project Manager for Nine Mile Point Unit 2, Mary Haughey, (301) 492-1439.
