1987 at Nine Mile Point Units
1 and 2, Scriba,
A
summary of the findings was presented
to Mr. T. Perkins
and other
members of
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
During followup of generic
scram discharge
volume design
concerns
at Unit 1,
the inspectors
identified that your facility may not be in full compliance
with a June
24,
1983 Confirmatory Order involving scram discharge
volume
design
and surveillance testing.
At question is whether the exceptions
you
described
in your January
30,
1981 letter to the
NRC are acceptable.
