~ g Electric and gas Corporation, and Lone !eland Lighting Company (the licensees) which authorizes operation of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 2 (the facility), at reactor core power levels not in excess of 3323 megawatts thermal in accordance with the provisions of the License, the Technical Specifications and the Environmental Protection Plan with a condition currently limiting opera-tion to five percent of full power (166 megawatts thermal).
Authorization to operate beyond five percent of full power will require specific Commission approval.
The Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 2 is a boiling water nuclear reactor located on the southeast shore of Lake Ontario in the town of Scriba, Oswego County, New York.
The license is effective as of the date of issuance.
The application for the license complies with the standards and require-
>ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comaission's e
regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required hy the Act and the Comission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I which are set 'forth in the license.
Prior public notice of the overall action invo1vina the proposed sssuance of an operating license was published in the Federal
~Re ister on iaay 13.

The Commission has determined that the issuance of this license will not result in any environmental impacts other than those, evaluated in the Final Environmental Statement since the activity authorized by the license is encom-passed bc the overall action evaluated in the Final Environmental Statement.
