Outstanding Information Required to Close Open and Confirmatory Issues for Nine Mile Point, Unit 2 On January 14,

1986, we discussed with Mr. Don Hill of your staff the status of open and confirmatory issues on i<inc Mile Point, Unit 2 (NMP-2).

At that time we also discussed with Mr. Hill the information outstanding from Niagara Mohawk which will be needed before the staff can close out tho associated issues.

The enclosure to this letter identifies the issues on NMP-2 for which information is needed from Niagara Mohawk to close the issue.

There are still a large number of these issues remaining.

In order to assist us in scheduling our efforts and resources we are reque&ing that within ten days of receipt of this letter you submit, in writing, a schedule for submitting the balance of the outstanding information as identified in the enclosure.
