Amendment 23 to Application for Operating License Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Docket No. 50-410 In accordance with 10CFR50.30(c)(1) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission March 29, 1983 letter, enclosed are three originals and 60 copies of Amendment 23 to the Final Safety Analysis Repor t.
These changes incorporate ce)"tain Nuclear Regulatory Commission questions previously provided in the text of the Final Safety Analysis Report.
Changes incorporate updated design information for Nine Mile Point Unit 2 to aid the staff in Technical Specification review effort.
The changes also reflect the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation effort to match the Final Safety Analysis Report and design documents.
Figures and drawings in this amendment will be verified as part of our Final Safety Analysis Report verification program.
In the original submittal of the Final Safety Analysis Report on January 25, 1983, we requested proprietary status for certain figures in Section 6A in accordance with 10CFR2
.790.
The September 21, 1983 letter from A. Schwencer to G. K. Rhode approved this proprietary status.
Amendment 23 contains updates to Section 6A.
For the same reasons discussed in our January 25, 1983
- letter, we request proprietary status for this updated information.
These updates are marked proprietary and are being sent under separate cover.
