Trip Report for the Seismic gualification Review Team (SgRT) Audit of July 8-12, 1985 On July 8-12, 1985, the SqRT visited the Nine Mile Point, Unit 2 {NMP-2) site.
The SgRT consisted of Mr. N.
Romney of the NRC and Messrs.
J. Curreri, M. Kassir, and K. Bandyopadhyay of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).
Enclosed is a copy of the trip report from that audit prepared by BNL.
The evaluation of the results of that audit was included in the NMP-2 Safety Evaluation Report Supplement 2 (SSER-2).
A copy of SSER-2 was provided to Mr. Don Hill of your staff on November 22, 1985.
As discussed in SSER-2 Section
- 3. 10 a number of items remain to be addressed in order for the NRC staff to complete its review of the SgRT and the Pump and Valve Operability Review Team (PVORT).
In order to assist us in scheduling our review of these issues we request you provide a schedule for responding to each of the issues identified in Section 3. 10 of SSER-2 by December 24, 1985.
