served

a forum to discuss
the results of the Niagara
Mohawk
guality Assurance
hardware verification activities.
Additional topics of dis-
cussion
included surveillance of Reactor Controls, Inc., the electrical
separa-
tion program implementation,
the Final Safety Analysis Report
(FSAR) verifica-
tion efforts,
and the Niagara
Mohawk transitional organization.
Our review of the hardware verification data presented
during the course of
this meeting,
and
a previous meeting
documented within NRC Management
Meeting
Report 50-410/85-21,
indicate that extensive
evaluations
have
been
performed to
assess
the quality of the in-situ plant hardware.
Your actions
taken to address
the identified deficiencies
appear to be comprehensive.
We acknowledge your increased quality and engineering
overview of Reactor
Con-
trols, Inc.
We intend to monitor your revised electrical
separation
program
as
documented
in
NRC Inspection
Report 50-410/85-19.
We additionally intend to
monitor the results of your
FSAR verification program.
We wish to meet with you again, after the Unit 2 pre-operational
test program
is firmly implemented,
to assess
the impact upon the joint Unit 1 and
2 opera-
tions organization.
