SUBJECT:

CASELOAD FORECAST FOR NINE MILE POINT 2 In October 1984, the Caseload Forecast Panel (CFP) visited the Nine Mile Point 2 site.

At that time Mr. Dean guamme had recently assumed the position of Project Director at the Nine Mile Point 2 site and schedules for completion of the project had recently been revised.

At the conclusion of the meeting we requested updates of the project through December 1984.

On June 13, 1985, we request representatives of your staff meet with the Caseload Forecast Panel to discuss progress to date compared to the schedules presented in October 1984.

NMPC should present an overview of the project as a whole as well as specific presentations in the following:

(1) Pre-operational and acceptance procedures

2) Design Verification Program
3) Turnovers
4) Cables 5 Terminations (5) Pre-operational 5 acceptance testing The schedule for this meeting has already been discussed with Mr. Anthony Zallnick of your staff. If you have any questions concerning the above, please contact the Licensing Project Manager, Mary Haughey on (301) 492-7897.
