SUMMARY

OF MEETING WITH NMPC CONCERNING OPEN ITEMS IN THE AREA OF POWER SYSTEMS FOR NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT 2 On June 28 and 29, 1984 the NRC staff met with representatives from NMPC, as well as representatives from Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation (SWEC) and General Electric Corporation (GE), in Bethesda, Maryland.

The basis of this meeting was the June 14, 1984 letter from A. Schwencer to B. G. Hooten concerning outstanding issues in the area of power systems.

Draft responses and/or clarifications for each of the outstanding issues were discussed at the meeting and are addressed in summary in Enclosure l.

Enclosure 2 includes a list of meeting attendees.
