SUMMARY
OF MEETING LIITH NMPC ON EQUALITY ASSURANCE On January 20, 1984, the NRC staff met with representatives from Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation in Bethesda, Maryland, to discuss Quality Assur-ance issues for Nine Mile Point 2.
During this meeting the requests for additional information in the area of guality Assurance (transmitted in a letter to Gerald K. Rhode from A. Schwencer, August 12, 1983) were discussed.
Attachment 1 describes the actions to be taken as a result of the discussion.
During the meeting the NRC staff noted that NMPC gA management responsive-ness to recent NRC inspections in the construction area would be considered by the staff when reviewing the operational gA program.
NMPC responded that gA organizational changes were already being considered as a result of the recent inspections.
Attachment 2 contains a list of meeting attendees.
