Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit No.
1 We have completed our review of your submittals dated September 27,
- 1982, January 28, 1983, March 31, 1983, and November 16,
- 1983, on MPA B-48, "Adequacy of Station Electric Distribution System Voltages".
Our Safety Evaluation (enclosed) was based on our review of (1) our contractor's Technical Evaluation Report (TER),
LLNL Report UC1019709, (2) the licensee's commitments regarding replacement or rewinding several 575 volt-motors during
- the Spring 1984 refueling outage and the design evaluation of the 115 KV switchyard, and (3) our evaluation of the safety aspects of the facility with regard to 10 CFR 50, Appendix A, GDC 17.
Based on our review and the licensee's commitments, we find the Nine Mile Point Unit 1 design to be acceptable with respect to the adequacy of the station electric distribution system voltages.
