'APPROVAL OF DYMIDAG SYSTEM FOR RARJASTE BUILDING OF NINE MILE RVollmer UNSTAGGERED USE IN ~COt57RU POINT, UNIT 2 In your letter dated Jan',nary 28, 1982, you request appmval for use of the DYl<IDAG Threadbar System fn certain locations of the Radwaste Building of Nine Mile Point, Unit 2.
Th.ese locations are:
1.
dowels from exterior walls to slabs 2.
dowels from slabs to interior walls 3.
dowels between interior walls and exterior walls; and 4.
dowels between intersecting fnterfor walls.
This January 26th request supercedes your'arlier request contained fn your letter of August 17, 1981, to use the DYHIDAG Thr eadbar System fn all seismic Category I structures.
However, you maintain your commitment in l,'jaur letter of Jan,'wry 28th to abide by the five conditions identified fn your August 17th letter.
Moreover, you provide an additional commitment in your January 28th letter to fully comply with the balanced steel ratio requirement of Section 10.3 of ACI 318-77.
Based on your commitment to the five conditions c,ontafned in your letter of August 17, 1981, and your commitment to comply 4ith the balancedf steel requirements of Section 10.3 of ACI 318-77, we find your use'f the DYMIDAG Threadbar System to be acceptable for use in an uo"staggered manner in the four locations of the R'a@aste building identified above.
